Year 7 History trip

Year 7 visited the Tower of London as part of their studies on castles and weapons in the Norman times. The session was led by one of the beefeaters dressed as a Norman knight. Year 7 learnt about the White Tower and the challenges facing the still-precarious Norman court. Through examination of the White Tower exterior and its defences students discovered the symbolic power of the great Norman fist on Anglo-Saxon soil.
