Why Thames?

Thames Christian School is an Independent coeducational secondary school with small classes, high expectations and a committed staff team. Each pupil is valued as a unique and gifted individual. Pupils achieve highly in their GCSE results and co-curricular activities and gain entry to a wide range of top independent and state sixth forms.

Located a few minutes walk from Clapham Junction the school is accessible from a wide area of London and the surrounding counties. From September 2020 the school will be accommodated in a new purpose-built facility with a three stream entry and sixth form.

Our extravaganza production of the musical Hairspray at The Clapham Grand in July was a real hit, with parents saying it was the best we have ever produced. Pupils put on outstanding performances in the show which features well-known songs by Marc Shaiman including Welcome To The 60s, I Know Where I’ve Been and You Can’t Stop The Beat.
