Students secure second place in acclaimed Worldwise Quiz Geography battle

In a thrilling display of geographical prowess, students from Thames Christian School showcased their knowledge and tenacity at the annual Worldwise Geography Quiz. The competition saw two teams of bright minds from our Year 8 and Year 9 classes enthusiastically participate in a University Challenge-style face-to-face quiz, organized for multiple teams of three students within the Year 8–10 age range. The local quiz format, arranged by a dedicated organiser, featured questions supplied by the Geographical Association. A total of 8-10 schools from the South West local area including Emanuel and Hampton School engaged in a battle of wits, with Thames Christian School securing a commendable second place.

The team, consisting of Iosif, Micah and Oliver, deserve a resounding applause for their sterling effort and commitment to excellence. This achievement not only highlights the students' dedication to academic success but also underscores Thames Christian School's commitment to fostering a culture of knowledge and achievement.
