On Tuesday evening our Year 9 drama classes put on an evening of live performances for their families to showcase the work they have created so far this year in lessons. In celebration of Shakespeare’s birthday, guests were treated to several of his famous monologues as well as scenes from film and TV, devised pieces and stage works by Arthur Miller, Alan Ayckbourn and Edward Albee.
For her performances as Queen Elizabeth I Poppy, in Year 9, wore an incredible dress designed and made by Hollie also in Year 9. Mr Manning said he was very proud of the “close-knit team” they have become working together to produce this show. What a treat!
