Teacher of KS3 and KS4 Mathematics - September 2026 (Maternity Cover)
An exciting opportunity has opened up to provide maternity cover within an enthusiastic and dedicated staff team in a small but growing independent school with an excellent reputation. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented teacher of Mathematics with a passion for developing mathematical skills in those who find the subject more challenging. Classes are small and pupils exceptionally well behaved. The post is a minimum of 0.8 FTE up to full time.
The role:
Teaching Mathematics in KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering well structured lessons and ensuring that high standards of engagement are maintained in the classroom
Suggesting and implementing strategies to improve engagement and progress
Implementing the school’s strategic vision for Maths, through long, medium and short term planning and further developing appropriate schemes of learning and resources.
The successful candidate will:
Be a graduate with a relevant good honours degree
Be a creative, innovative and dedicated teacher with a real passion for your subject
Have a commitment to embracing challenges and raising pupil attainment
Have an exceptional eye for detail
Have experience in either the private or maintained sector
Be excited by the school’s vision and respect the school’s ethos and values.
