We are delighted to announce that Thames Christian School has been highly commended for its Inclusive SEN in the Education Choices Awards 2026. Having been initially shortlisted last week, our school made it to the very final round.
Judges were impressed by the way our school’s distinct ethos, small class sizes, how we help pupils access the curriculum and specific initiatives such as The Forest.
Dr Stephen Holsgrove, Head, commented: “We are delighted to be recognised for our SEN provision. We are a mainstream school but we have a ‘best in class’ SEN team who play an integral role. Recognised by CReSTeD (Council for the Registration of Schools Teaching Dyslexic Pupils), we have built a deserved reputation for understanding how different types of pupils learn best and the impact Specific Learning Difficulties have on each child.”
