Next steps: BA Politics and Spanish at University of Manchester

Ziggy joined Thames in Year 7 and briefly went elsewhere for Year 12 before realising the benefits of Thames’ culture and size. With fresh appreciation of Thames’ personal approach, Ziggy set about investing in relationships with Year 7 and 8 pupils, developing an innate leadership gifting in the process and rising to become a loved and effective Head Boy.

Having first become passionate about international development in Year 9 Geography, Ziggy initially applied for BA Human Geography. However a rapid growth in confidence and fluency in Spanish A Level during Year 13 saw him rethink his place at Cardiff University, taking a gap year while he reapplied for a dual honours degree, which the school willingly facilitated.
