Next steps: BSc Mathematics at University of Bath

Will joined Thames in Year 12, seeking a new environment in which to challenge himself, but still be well known and supported. He didn’t have a specific university or career plan, so deliberately chose a broad combination of A Levels for the sheer enjoyment of each subject!

Will was respected for his thoughtfulness and diligent approach to his studies. As he grew in confidence and familiarity with the school he began to excel, alongside taking on opportunities such as the Tanzania trip.

In particular, Will’s time at Thames unlocked a previously unexplored gifting with Mathematics. This led to Will deciding to delay university and take Further Maths A Level during a gap year. Alongside the Further Maths lessons, he spent part of the year at language school in Germany.
