Next steps: BArch Architecture at University of Loughborough

Leilani joined Thames in Year 12 after the closure of her school and quickly became an outstanding member of our community. She pursued academic excellence with relentless drive, determination, and resilience as a phenomenal artist and innate designer – achieving A* in both subjects – while also balancing national-level swimming and contributions to broader school life.

Leilani showcased the Thames values of compassion, respect, and love. She assisted with Youth Alpha, and led in both Sports and as Head Girl. She also helped to lead food bank collections and spearheaded a Hurricane Melissa relief appeal in school. Leilani was therefore a model Thames student who left not only with brilliant qualifications but the ability to serve others well.
