Students at Thames Christian School are celebrating excellent A Level results. 48% of grades were A*/A with almost one fifth at A* grade and nearly 80% of grades were A*-B. Students achieved top A* grades in subjects ranging from English Literature, Further Maths and Art to 3D Design.
Nearly all our students have secured confirmed places for their chosen degree courses at universities and colleges. Courses and universities include: Maths at University of Bath, Finance with Business Management at Exeter University, Politics and Spanish at Manchester University, Sports Therapy at Chichester University, Architecture at Loughborough University, Computer Science at Queen Mary’s, University of London, and Economics, Finance and Business at Oxford Brookes. In addition, one student is taking up a degree-apprenticeship at WSP Global while two others have gone straight into employment.
Dr Stephen Holsgrove, Head, Thames Christian School, said: “We are absolutely thrilled by these results. They are richly deserved by this year’s students who have worked so hard to achieve their success – supported by our dedicated staff and of course, their parents. We congratulate all our A Level students and wish them the very best with their future studies and careers.
Echoing his comments, Mercy Maddan, Head of Sixth Form said: “We are so proud of our students receiving their results today. Alongside their excellent academic progress, these young adults leave us with outstanding communication skills, resilience and maturity. I wish them all well and I am confident they will be an asset at their chosen universities and workplaces.”
