Harmony, Year 11, secured Gold in the 50m butterfly, which qualifies her for the National Championships later this autumn, and Bronze in the 100m freestyle. Her performance has also secured her a place for the butterfly leg in the London West relay team at the national championships.
Alex, Year 11, secured fourth place in his heat for 100m front crawl while Aliza, Year 7, came third in the 50m backstroke and fifth in the 50m breaststroke. Anna, Year 8, came third and fourth in her 50m breaststroke and 50m front crawl heats respectively.
Mrs Bright, said “Our pupils represented Thames so well. There was a lot of mentoring going on from our Year 11s, which was so sweet to see. They were being so supportive in sharing their experiences and cheering the younger school on”. We are so proud of all their efforts. Next stop the Finals!
