Annyeonghaseyo! That means ‘Nice to meet you!’ in Korean and, today, we were delighted to welcome 22 Year 7 and 8 pupils from a school in South Korea who are visiting the UK (and schools in Sweden and Denmark) over the next few days.
They enjoyed meeting our Year 7 and 8 pupils, teaching them traditional Korean games. Our guests also shared some Korean traditions and both schools took part in a quiz.
The trip was made possible from Korea by the Chungbuk Nobel Project which is an educational initiative designed to foster future Nobel Prize laureates. The project cultivates scientific literacy, leadership, and creativity among gifted students. That was really interesting and fun, or “Jaemiissneun” as they say in Korean!”
