Pupils have the opportunity to take part in at least four hours of sports lessons each week. Teams regularly represent Thames in matches and tournaments, as well as competing in regional and national Independent Schools Association, borough and London-wide competitions.
Extensive use is made of facilities close to the school. These include a brand new 4G all-weather Astroturf pitch at Falcon Park, pitches on Wandsworth Common, two large, fully equipped sports halls at Battersea Sports Centre and Caius House, the latter of which also offers a gym and a mirrored dance studio with a sprung floor.
Typically included in sports sessions: athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, cross country, dance, fitness, football, gym, hockey, netball, rugby, table tennis, volleyball. Clubs regularly include sports such as self defence, squash and tennis.
