Each week pupils take part in a two hour morning session at a local indoor sports centre in addition to one or two full afternoons of sport.

There is plenty of scope for those who are athletically gifted or who just love playing sport. Typically included in sports sessions and clubs are: athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, cross country, dance, fitness, football, golf, hockey, netball, rugby, self-defence, squash, tennis, table tennis, trampolining and volleyball.

Pupils may take Physical Education GCSE during which they are examined on their proficiency in four sports.

Teams compete in regional and national ISA, borough and London-wide competitions as well as taking part in matches and tournaments with other schools. On occasions visiting professional sportsmen and women bring their expertise to the sports teaching.

Extensive use is made of external sports facilities all within a five to ten minute walk of the school. These include outdoor grass football pitches, an outdoor Astroturf pitch, two large fully equipped sports halls, a gym and a mirrored dance studio with a sprung floor.
