Facilities Manager - Summer 2024
We are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Manager to manage our new build premises located adjacent to Clapham Junction Station. Thames is a thriving and diverse independent secondary school, with facilities comprising 4000m2 of general and specialist classrooms, multi-purpose hall, theatre space and kitchens, and state of the art teaching aids. Energy efficient light, heating and ventilation systems help create a stunning environment for learning. High level landscaped courtyards provide outside space.
The role:
Managing a state of the art modern building
Responsible for carrying out or organising repairs, maintenance and cleaning
Responsible for security
Key holder able to respond in an emergency
Supporting the running of the school day
Managing premises during lettings to external users
The successful candidate will:
Have experience of a Facilities Management role in a modern building
Have strong handyman skills, able to resolve and maintain a wide range a building issues
Have strong IT skills and a high level of computer literacy
Have Relevant qualifications
Have good problem solving skills and the ability to use initiative in challenging situations
Be willing to learn new skills and expand your areas of expertise
