Oscar

A talented and hardworking all-rounder, Oscar achieved 100% A*/As with 9 A*s in Maths, Music, English Language, Biology, Physics, Geography, History, Religious Studies and French and As in English Literature and Chemistry when he left Thames in 2016. He came to Thames in Year 10 after living in China and is fluent in Mandarin. A gifted actor and singer, he played the lead, Bobby Child, in our 2015 production of Gershwin’s musical Crazy For You. He contributed to school life as a musician, on the piano and in the choir. A keen footballer, he was a regular in the senior boys’ football team. As Head Boy he used his leadership and footballing skills to mentor young children at nearby Falconbrook Primary School. Having taken A levels at Ashcroft Technology Academy, Oscar is in his fourth year of studying Medicine at Imperial College.
